Department implements monitoring activities in three basic directions marked below:
Process monitoring
allows assess the skills, knowledge and other qualities of trainers, and also evaluate the development via monitoring of the delivered trainings. Also the level of changes in theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the trained agricultural extensionists are monitored.
Results monitoring
Its title mentions the idea of this monitoring. Thus, AIM pays attention to the payments made by farmers for the independent extension services with the purpose of the sustainability of advisory service.
Impact monitoring
Monitoring the changes in the welfare of AIM’s target group i.e. farming population is one of the main duties of AIM. Through impact monitoring AIM reveals the role of the extension services in such changes and how the farmers benefit from these services.
